Canggu, Bali, Indonesia

Canggu isn't as built up as Seminyak and Kuta yet. There is good food, relaxed vibe and has nice waves for surfing and even kiteboarding.

Getting to Canggu:

From Denpasar airport, it's about a 40-60 minute long drive depending on traffic.

Getting around Canggu:

Rent a scooter from your accommodation (with surfboard rack if necessary). Some luxury villas include a driver & car with the accommodation.

Beaches:

The beaches in Canggu all have dark sand. They are much quieter than the beaches in Seminyak and Kuta.

Echo Beach

Dark sanded beach with a few bars and three surf breaks. Careful the rips / currents when swimming.

Old Man's

Surfing:

There are many spots to surf in Canggu. It can be windy so its best to surf early. Rainwater makes the water murky.
